Apollo version II features specially designed plates with built-in springs that adjust the pressure automatically depending on the thickness of the book. This means:

Scanning

  • Operator places the book in Apollo II.
  • Specially designed plates with built-in springs automatically adjust the pressure according to the thickness of the book, ensuring perfect flatness. The surface is automatically stretched, eliminating curvature, whether it is the first or last pages. No adjustment is required.
  • EXTRA TRANSPARENT CLEAR) and security ( tempered – securite ), allowing the recording of all details.
  • ScanSnap scanner software SV 600 and CZUR ET 24 & ET 25 completes the scanning of each surface with one pass and the press of a button.
  • The accompanying software allows for bulk and automated scanning with browsing detection or time mode.
  • Images are clear and ready for cropping.
  • The scanning process is accelerated with Apollo II at least 80%.

 

Cropping

  • After scanning, cropping requires minimal intervention, as the surface is already leveled and aligned.
  • Quality control is sufficient for 80% of pages.

 

Naming

With scanner software, it is possible to name a single file for all pages of the book, creating a complete digital copy of it.
