- All glazing is tempered (Securite), as it has undergone a heat-tempering treatment.

- As it is a sturdy metal construction there is no limitation on the weight of the books.

With Atlas Book Scanner A1+ we offer our Atlas production software with the following Capture and editing capabilities. The Atlas software:
- It is compatible and manages 2 pcs of Canon EOS R cameras
- It is compatible with Windows 7 or newer
- Provides Live View with real-time autofocus adjustment capabilities. Allows simultaneous shooting of photos from both cameras and mass editing of right and left book pages. Time-delayed operation is possible for more productive process (e.g. every 10 seconds shooting from both Canon EOS R cameras)
- From the mass edit menu it is technically possible to do automatic cropping, cropping with parallel cropping and side-by-side cropping.
- With cropping per side it is possible to limit curvature due to binding and to correct trapezoidal distortion. It takes longer to produce but the result obtained tends to be an exact copy.
- Ability to create RAW, Tiff, PDF, JPEG files with selected compression levels.
In addition, color editing process of the image is possible with a super-analytical image processing menu with features such as sharpness enhancement (e.g. sharpening) autolevel sharpen, cleaning the print from dots (despeckle), cleaning the print from darkness and yellowing and many more.
